Ollie Henry has always loved singing and performing, but first realised his passion for songwriting at age 15. Since then, the 24-year-old singer-songwriter has spent his years developing his craft, and turning his love for music into his full-time career. During the completion of his BA (Hons) degree in Creative Musicianship, Ollie released his debut single ‘Distance’ (December 2018).

 

Ollie writes his songs as a form of emotional expression, meaning that when listening to his music, you can expect to hear heartfelt lyrics, married with powerful vocals and arrangements. Growing up listening to a wide variety of genres means that Ollie Henry’s music takes influence from many artists, including Lauv, Ed Sheeran, Ruel and Luke Combs.

 

Notable performances can include his first original’s set at The 02 Islington back in 2017, with follow up performances at Norden Farm in Maidenhead (2018/2019), and Nambucca, London (April 2019). He has also performed with various others, singing twice at The Royal Albert Hall with Berkshire Youth Choir, followed by a performance at Windsor Castle. Ollie is currently spending his time writing and recording new music.
